I am a 24 year old hobbyist cosplayer from Poland, Europe and I like rhythm games. 😀 I have been cosplaying roughly about 10 years now and it has made me a seamstress, costume designer, prop-maker, hair stylist, makeup artist, photographer, videographer and photo retoucher in one.
For those of you who are not familiar with the term cosplay – it comes from the words “costume” and “play” and is a performance art in which participants called cosplayers wear costumes and fashion accessories to represent a specific character.
Thanks to this hobby I have been a part in a lot of smaller conventions and bigger events dedicated to the japanese culture, and there I also took interest in rhythm games.
The first game I played was Stepmania, but later I also got to try Pump it Up, Beatmania, Pop’n Music or Sound Voltex.
For quite a while now I’m actively helping with setting up the rhythm games block on some conventions and I also own my own L-TEK pad.
As you have probably guessed, I have officially become a part of L-TEK and will be in charge of writing some posts and answering some of your comments here. I hope you can give me a warm welcome. 🙂
