How to map Boulder
In this guide, you will learn how to program the Boulder converter to assign new mapping to your mat.
1. Open Boulder Configuration page
Go to the website linked below, where you will find an introduction to the program. To continue, click “let the light work.”
2. Select your mat model
In this window, you need to select the mat you have and want to assign new controls to it.
3. Select the devices whose functions are to be assigned
Here you need to select the device whose functions you want to assign to your mat.
4. Assigning functions to the mat
In the next window, you will see the mat you have selected and below it a list of functions for the devices you have selected. To assign functions, select the target panel on the mat, then select the function from the list. Once you have done this, the function will be assigned to the selected panel.
5. Programming screen
After accepting your mapping, the programming screen will appear. Follow the steps to learn how to upload the new mapping to the Boulder.
6. Connect the boulder to the power source
To program the converter, connect it to the power supply using the included cable (PC/Mac/power outlet).
7. Programming mode activation
To activate the Boulder programming mode, press the center button once - an animation of a comet will appear, signaling that the device is ready for programming.
8. Programming - step 1
To start programming, place the boulder on the device screen. The exact position of the converter is outlined on the screen.
9. Programming - step 2
Press “let the light work” and you will notice that the LEDs on the bulder will switch from the comet effect to flashing.
10. Programming - step 3
Successful programming will be indicated by green LEDs. Connect the Mat to your PC via the converter and check if the mapping is correct. If the mapping is incorrect, repeat the programming WITHOUT refreshing the page.
