The mat is not visible in games.
This guide will walk you through the steps you need to take to diagnose the cause of the problem.
1. LED indicators on the converter Part 1
Look at the converter connected to the console if you have a DualShock 2 connected with an LTEK Mat.
The LED on the converter should slowly pulse blue if both devices are connected and detected by the converter.
2. LED indicators on the converter Part 2
If both devices are connected correctly to the converter and you see a flashing green LED on your converter, it means that your mat has not been detected by the converter.
3. troubleshooting Step 1 | Part 1 - check the connection on your PC
Check the mat with the same cable after connecting it to a PC. You can check the connected mat and its connection status using the built-in Windows interfaces or on the LTEK Support Center website, in the “Mat Tester” tab (using Google Chrome).
Check if the mat is detectable and if the signal is stable. If the signal is stable, it means that the problem is not with the cable/mat controller.
If the mat is visible and its connection is not interrupted, proceed to “troubleshooting Step 2 - Cable connection”
4. troubleshooting Step 1 | Part 2 - check the connection on your PC
If your mat is not visible/loses connection, this means that the problem lies with the cable/controller.
In this case, go to the “inputs” category and the problem related to the unstable connection of the mat.
5. troubleshooting Step 2 - Cable connection
Check that the cable connecting the mat to the converter is properly connected:
On the converter side - grab the converter plug and the end of the cable, then press lightly to check that the cable is secure.
On the mat side - check that the plug is fully inserted into the port on the mat; you should hear a clear click when it is connected.
If both plugs are correctly inserted into the corresponding ports and the converter still does not recognize the mat, proceed to the next step.
6. troubleshooting Step 3
If the previous step did not work, try replacing the USB cable. LTEK mats use the same cable connector as printers.
After changing the cable, check if the converter can see the mat.
7. Contact the support team
If replacing the cable does not change the LED status, it means that the converter may have an internal defect - contact our support department via “Support Request” and describe your problem, our team will help you.
