Pad detected as keyboard / not as LTEK Pad
Pad detected as keyboard instead of dance pad
1. Why is my mat not detected in StepMania? As a controller in the system?
If your mat displays LEDs on its casing after connecting it to your computer, your mat may be set to a profile that is not detectable by the Stepmania game.
When the mat is connected and displays the “orange 1” profile ( center LED is brighter than the rest), it means that the mat is set to keyboard mode (which may not be detectable as a controller, which is why it does not appear in Stepmania). For the game to automatically detect and map the mat as an LTEK controller, follow this guide.
2. Next Level Gaming Mat profiles
Next Level Gaming Mat comes with a manual containing all available profiles, please refer to the included manual for a complete list of control profiles or go to "Manuals & Setup" to view the manual online.
