A complete pad-and-PC starting point
Two Prime mats and a GameMate computer are included. Your display, audio arrangement and a suitable playing area complete the home setup.
Prime controls for both players
Each mat provides the four-arrow dance layout and illuminated Start/Select controls. Four on-pad profiles cover Dancepad, Joypad and two keyboard layouts.
Sensitive inputs and fast polling
Prime combines improved sensitivity and low sensor travel with 1000 Hz USB polling. That is a nominal 1 ms polling interval; calibration still matters for the complete game.
A stable home foundation
Each Prime has an 18 kg base, anti-slip stands, PRO panels, aluminium borders and silicone bumpers. The construction includes noise reduction for home use.
Software prepared on GameMate
The bundle includes Fitmania prepared on the refurbished PC. GameMate also lists preloaded apps including StepMania LTEK; the installed release should be confirmed for your order.
Detachable USB connections
The bundle includes USB-A to USB-B cables for the Prime mats. Protected sockets help keep the connections practical during play and allow the cables to be removed for storage.
01 / A SHARED HOME SETUP
Give both players a place of their own
Place the two Prime mats where each player can see the same screen and step off without crossing the other player’s path. You can practise separately, take turns on a favourite song or use a two-player game mode. Start with a chart both players can read comfortably; learning together works better when the first song leaves time to recognise each direction.
Make room for the pads
Each Prime measures 85 × 85 × 3 cm and weighs 18 kg. Allow additional clearance around both mats and route the USB cables away from stepping and walking paths.
Choose a workable daily routine
Noise-reducing construction helps with impact sound, but your floor and stepping style still matter. Pick the position and playing times with your household in mind.

Prime’s construction and controls, for each player
The Family set uses Prime mats with PRO panels, aluminium borders and silicone bumpers. The short sensor travel and high sensitivity support responsive steps, while the substantial base and anti-slip stands help the mats stay in place. Play barefoot or in sports shoes on a stable surface.
Choose the profile the game needs
Use the illuminated Start/Select buttons to select Dancepad, Joypad or one of two keyboard layouts. The manual shows the activation sequence and profile colours. Four profiles describe input modes, not four supplied mats.
Finish the timing setup
1000 Hz USB polling is one part of the signal path. Map the two players separately and calibrate for the computer, screen and sound output you will use.

GameMate is a refurbished PC prepared for L-TEK mats. This Family bundle includes Fitmania prepared for play, and the GameMate range also comes with apps including StepMania LTEK. Connect your own compatible screen and audio equipment, then check the installed software and test each player’s arrows before beginning.
Use the current Windows release
The latest StepMania 5.0 LTEK Edition is a free Windows beta with Automap, a tutorial and guided calibration. Confirm the delivered PC’s system and installed release before updating; keep a backup of songs, profiles and settings.
Check the connections first
PC revisions can differ. Confirm display outputs and supplied leads for your unit rather than buying an adapter from a photograph. This bundle does not require you to provide another computer.
A GOOD FIRST EXPERIENCE
Your first family session
Set up one player first, then add the second. A few minutes of mapping keeps the first shared song simple.

Make space for both players
Place both mats on a level, stable floor with room to step off. Route the two USB leads away from feet and leave a clear route through the room.

Connect GameMate and your screen
Use a compatible display and audio connection for the delivered computer. Check its supplied leads and installed software before updating anything.

Assign and check both pads
Connect the Prime mats by USB. Select the appropriate profiles, assign each player in the game and check every arrow. Use Automap or manual mapping as needed, then calibrate timing.

Start with the easiest chart
Follow the beginner tutorial in the latest LTEK Edition if installed, or begin with an easy chart in your prepared game. Learn the arrows, replay a short song and build difficulty gradually.

Do I need to supply a computer?
No: GameMate is included. You still need a compatible screen and sound arrangement. Confirm the PC’s display outputs and supplied leads for the unit you will receive.
Does Family include Prime or PRO X mats?
This Family bundle includes two LTEK Prime mats. They have Prime’s illuminated Start/Select controls, four input profiles and silicone bumpers. The Home Party bundle has a different composition.
What software comes with the set?
The Family bundle specifies Fitmania prepared on the included PC. GameMate also lists apps including StepMania LTEK. The latest StepMania 5.0 LTEK Edition is available as a free Windows beta; confirm the installed release before updating.
Can a beginner and an experienced player use it together?
Yes. Begin with easy songs and use the difficulty options supported by your chosen game. Each player has a separate mat; mapping the correct mat to the correct player is part of setup.
Are the mats wireless or completely silent?
The Prime mats connect to GameMate by USB. Their construction reduces noise, but footstep impact still depends on your floor, placement and playing style. Plan the room and cable routes before the first session.
Can I order personal artwork for both mats?
Prime supports optional panel customisation, but the design coverage and ordering arrangement for two mats should be agreed for this specific bundle. Ask L-TEK how to add the service and assign each design.
